Guadalupe Valley Wine Country is a collective of wineries and merchants

The Guadalupe Valley Wine Country (GVWC)
celebrates the unique area that is
the Guadalupe River
Watershed.. Unlike most of the Texas
Hill Country which is dotted with
ranches, this region was populated by
German settlers in the 1850’s who were
ready to roll up their sleeves and begin
farming the fertile soil surrounding the
Guadalupe River.
Today the wineries of the GVWC
are continuing this farming tradition,
growing grapes and producing the
finest wines Texas has to offer. Once
you discover this region of Texas with
it’s rolling hills, green valleys and
friendly people, you will understand why
it is so enchanting.
